Rolex GMT watch was designed to cater to the needs of pilots and navigators. It was designed in collaboration with the Pan American Airways. GMT means Greenwich Mean Time.
The original design had a rotatable 24-hour scale bezel that allowed you to offset time and set the time in a second time zone. Rolex improved on the GMT and released GMT-Master II, which come fitted with an adjustable quickset hour hand that is adjustable to local time, without distorting the seconds and minutes hand. GMT-Master II is capable of showing a third-time zone, thanks to the rotatable bezel.
The GMT has since become a darling for aviators and frequent travelers. This model comes in white gold, and to own one, you need approximately $41,000.
