- SARS-CoV: As of 2004 8,098 cases and 774 deaths (9.57% mortality rate).
- MERS-CoV: Outbreak was in 2012 in Saudi Arabia and as of November 2019 2,494 cases and 858 deaths (34.4% mortality rate).
- COVID-19: As of February 29, 2020, 89,992 cases and 2,979 deaths (3.3% mortality rate).
According to China NHC; 80% of deaths were patients over 60 years of age and 75% of cases had pre-existing conditions.
As we mentioned the total cases recorded worldwide and the mortality rates, it is fair to mention also the number of cases recovered. As of February 29, 2020, total cases recorded 89,992 cases with 42,334 cases that are completely recovered from the disease.
